BoosterMedia raises $5m as investors see vast growth potential in HTML5 games

One of our partners – Boostermedia raised a $5 m fund to grow their business expansion. This is very promising information for HTML5 gaming. If the investors are still pushing more resources into web gaming networks, we can look forward to a better and more optimistic future. Below I’m posting a part of original article which can be found in this link.

“The Series A round of over $5m gives the BoosterMedia management team funding to continue its international expansion as well as adding to the team at its Amsterdam, The Netherlands, HQ. It will open new offices in Singapore and Sao Paolo, Brazil, before the end of the year. The firm has recently opened an office in Tokyo to continue to expand its relationship with Japan’s leading games publishers. BoosterMedia has key partnerships and distribution deals with several Tokyo companies already in place.

The funding will also enable BoosterMedia to continue to enhance its platform and lets even more third party developers to publish and monetise their HTML5 games through BoosterMedia’s distribution partnerships with leading brands worldwide. The platform allows gamers to enjoy an extensive portfolio of free-to-play ad-funded games, social community features and freemium games with in-app purchases”

This information confirms that the growth of the web mobile gaming market is not stopping. If other major publishers would keep on promoting and stretching their networks along with huge companies and investors support, we will have a vast field of possibilities not only as a developers who will get a bigger gamers audience, but also there will be a higher global awareness of HTML5 mobile market itself. With that in mind we should keen on showing better and more polished products. If the quality of HTML5 will br growing, we should notice better interest in this part of gaming market. Our work can really pay off well just by proving that web mobile market has a future and it really works. We just need better support to gain more visibility of our niche.
